Abilia Norway is operating in all Norway, main offices in in Oslo and office in Brokelandsheia. The company employs around 30 people and is a key-market for Abilia.

As the Chief Business Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Abilia, as a group and in Norway. Your role involves identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, driving growth, and enhancing our impact in the communities we serve. You’ll also support the sister companies in the Assistive Tech segment with market access in Norway.
In this role, you will collaborate with the leadership team to identify and evaluate business opportunities in the rapidly growing welfare and assistive technology sector. Your focus will be on driving commercial success through effective go-to-market strategies, all while building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and customers. You will also advocate for the needs of individuals facing cognitive challenges in political and public forums.
Additionally, you will oversee the operations of the Norwegian subsidiary as the Country Manager, ensuring market insights to the group and assist in tender processes for sister companies. By fostering a positive work environment and business-driven culture, you will drive performance and employee engagement. Reporting to the Group CEO and Head of Business Area Assistive Tech, you will be a key member of Abilia’s management team.
To succeed, you should have a proven track record in business development at strategic, commercial, and operational levels, with strong leadership experience in welfare technology or a related industry. Excellent communication skills and a passion for making a difference are essential, along with a strategic and creative mindset for growth opportunities.
