We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Vendor Management Specialist to join our team. As our IT Vendor Management specialist, you will be responsible for managing the relationships with our IT vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring delivery progress, optimizing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. KPIs will include cost optimization, service excellence and risk mitigation throughout the contract life cycle.
We are looking for a person with both technical knowledge and commercial orientation. The position will be based at Odfjell’s headquarters in Bergen.


TASKS:

• Act as a trusted SaaS advisor for digital business success.
• Negotiate new contracts and manage renewals and modifications with IT vendors.
• Oversee technical, SLA, and commercial deliverables.
• Monitor delivery progress and optimize vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate IT Audits.
• Develop strategic approaches to IT cost reduction, optimization, and investment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align vendor services with organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A relevant university degree in Information Technology or a related business discipline
• Min 5 years’ experience within relevant areas
• Good understanding of IT systems and finops principles.
• Familiar with contract management and legal aspects of vendor relationships.
• Ability to optimize contracts, relationships, and performance for efficient delivery of services.
• International work and/or study experience is preferred. You must be fluent in English.
