As Supply Chain Director you have the overall responsibility and ownership of the flow of products throughout the entire value chain – from our suppliers and manufacturers to our customers and end users.
You will drive growth and profitability by providing world-class supply chain performance, continuous improvement of processes, automation, and cost reduction initiatives.
Your ability to think user first ensures the design and implementation of smart, digital and frictionless solutions exceeding our customers' expectations and creating exciting user experiences.
You ensure that BRAV works with the best partners that share our vision of improving conditions for people, animals and the planet.
Supply Chain Director is a part of BRAVs top-management group and reports to CEO. The position is located in Oslo and/or Lillehammer.
Main areas of responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of BRAV’s global Supply Chain strategy.
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain organization within BRAV.
- Ensure world class operational performance. BRAV shall always deliver on-time.
- Identify and implement initiatives to minimize freight and warehousing costs.
- Identify and implement KPI’s and structures which encourages and rewards those that continuously move our company towards achieving our sustainability goals.
- Be a driving force in the development of a sustainable value chain, including participation in organizations that drives the industry forward.
- Strengthen BRAVs sourcing capacity and build long-term partnerships with manufacturers.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to monitor KPIs and operational performance.
- System owner of the ERP system.
Knowledge and experience
The preferred candidate has a Master degree within technology or science and minimum of 10 years experience from managing global supply chain operations within FMCG. A combination with consulting experience is interesting.
- Inbound & outbound logistics.
- Warehousing and inventory management.
- Production planning and control.
- Customs handling, including knowledge of GSP, REX and EMMA.
- Process development.
- Using digital tools and technology to manage operations and improve supply chain performance.
- Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages in addition to very good proficiency in written and oral English.
